Interviewer instructions
he purpose of the first two questions of this module is to assess the type of household water used for drinking as well as for other purposes, such as cooking and washing hands. Definitions of the various sources of water are as follows (codes refer to those used in WS1 and WS2): · '11' - Piped into dwelling, also called a house connection, is defined as water service connected by pipe with in-house plumbing to one or more taps, for example, in the kitchen and/or bathroom. · '12' - Piped water to yard/plot, also called a yard connection, is defined as a piped water connection to a tap placed in the yard or plot outside the house.
